This primary school had a huge staircase with high walls, perfect for a wall mural.

The mural included a series of historic era's from the stone age through to World War Two, each with hand painted relevant dates and imagery.
Due to the new curriculum the History teacher at Pinehurst Primary School wanted a new way of educating the children on the timeline of history – so I designed a visual timeline for their large school stairwell.
History was brought to life in a large way with key visuals depicting key timeline facts of British and English history, the mural made the progression of time and the different historical periods and their importance easy for the children to understand...
