It was such a pleasure to have Joanna in school, the mural looks amazing. Joanna had a difficult task incorporating costumes from the competition winners, but the end result really looks fab. Thank you for your patience and hard work, the mural will be admired and loved for years to come!

The children had great fun getting involved with this mural. All the students sketched their favourite book characters, and then I translated this into a design.
School Children's Mural
The mural was for the reading area at this school so the hand painted bookcase added some fun to the wall.
The school ran a competition for World Book day and all the children dressed up as their favourite book character, the winners of the competition were then to be included in the mural. Because the mural was being painted on a wall in the library the concept of a bookshelf with children sitting in between the books reading seemed the perfect theme.
