Joanna Perry - Mural Artist
I am a fully qualified mural artist living in Cheshire, in the North West of England specialising in hand painted murals for interiors.
I have always been creative and started as a mural painter hand painting murals when I was in my teens, in my own bedroom and then I found all of my friends wanted one, so I started mastering my craft very early on.
How I became a mural artist..
I went on to University and qualified with a Ba Hons in Design – Surface Pattern. I worked as a designer for commercial companies but when I had my first child I decided that the nursery just had to have a complete themed mural.
As friends started to see my son’s room – my mural business began and it is the most rewarding and satisfying of jobs I have ever done.
My work as a mural painter
I travel all across the country and Europe painting murals for many amazing private clients, including a number of celebrities, large corporate clients, the British Forces in Germany and also murals for a visit by the Duchess of Wessex for the RAF.
I also work in conjunction with PPG the worldwide paint manufacturer of Johnstones Paint, helping them deliver Colourful Communities Murals projects to local communities. My work has also been filmed by Channel Four and Sky.
